Bro, the year was 2011. I was in 8th grade when I discovered Gorillaz, I stumbled upon them randomly. I had just started using the internet and social media, so I could finally look up new, awesome music, different from what my sibling was listening to and the radios. I still remember this eery feeling I felt while listening to every single one of their albums. Honestly Gorillaz was this super new, bizzare thing that fascinated me while puberty was slowly starting eating up my insides. The story about the characters and the sequence between their music videos was the most exciting thing in my daily life back then. Their unique sound was THE SHIT for me, it got me through stuff. Honestly I felt like I had discovered a hidden treasure, a secret, that only I could enjoy. I was feeling pretty special.
Good times. I am so glad I grew up with Gorillaz. Plastic Beach album had always a special place in my heart. Bro wtf my feelings are pouring out
