I have had blepharitis for 5 years now and it’s getting worse. I gave seen multiple ophthalmologists, allergists, and dermatologists, but no one can seem to help. I use warm compresses 2 times a day, use hypochlorous acid, eyelids scrubs, tea tree oil washes, eye drops, taken doxycycline and used erythromycin. My eyelids constantly have dry skin and flakes. Even when I feel like most of it is gone, it builds back up during the day. My eyes itch and are constantly irritated. I am at a loss as to watch to do next. Any suggestions you could provide would be greatly appreciated. 😊

Ive been dealing with this since i was 8 years old and im 30. Ive tried everything and ive done a god job of getting rid of it in the morning and it's a daily routine. When i wake up i wash my hands thoroughly and i mean thoroughly. You do not want to do this with dirty hands. After they are washed i gently rub my eyes to break up the Dandruff. After that i get into a warm shower and let some steam further soften the eyes and then wash my face. I then use my wet wash cloth over my eyes for about 15 minutes after my shower i was my hands again and rub my eyes and most of it will come off. The rest i gently rub out with my wash cloth. I dont know if its an environmental thing but the eye Dandruff does not return until the next morning. I hope this helps anyone struggling with this. There is no known cure at the moment so its the unfortunate reality that we just have to deal with it. Good luck everyone.

It’s not bacteria. It’s demodex mites. Use Xdemvy eye drops. Hope they work.
