I have been agonizing on the best way to mount the antenna on the roof. The ladder is too far back and your concerns on using it were mine. I have ordered the aluminum. Thanks for still having this available.

We went with the WeBoost, optional 110 power supply, short trucker antenna mounted to the ladder and 10 extra feet of low loss cable. On our second outing, right now :), we got to our site at one of our favorite campgrounds and found we had NO SIGNAL. Since I'm a computer systems engineer and on-call, this was going to be a problem. WeBoost to the rescue. After the booster was fired up we started to get 1 to 2 bars phone service within a few feet of the indoor antenna. If we placed our phones or hotspot on the antenna we got 5 bars signal strength and full LTE. Awesome little device. Nice to see something that actually does what it says it will.

I used the same blocks and VHB tape and attached the new Drive RV Antenna. I went one step further and added Eternabond Tape to make sure it won't go anywhere.

Great video guys! Was looking to getting this antenna but you brought up something I did not know. I'm a ham radio operator and have already installed 6 antenna mounts to my roof (3 were MNO and 3 were for 3/8-24 Threaded Stud) All of them professionally installed. I was planning to just screw the "4G-OTR truck antenna " onto one of my antenna mounts and not use the mirror mount that is supplied, but from your video it appears the coax is permanent attached to the antenna and does not use the Insulated antenna mount at all.

Now that you've had the WeBoost 4G-X for more than a year, what are your thoughts on the system now? I never understand how anyone could ever ever ever not like your videos. They are not only professional, they are simply great!

Hey Guys I would recommend using the 304447 Panel Antenna with your kit instead. It is stronger and would give you a larger coverage area as well

Good video. When reinstalling the plate after the new cable is run, isn't crushing or damage to the cable a concern when screwing down the plate.

Next time you remove the plate to your tech cabinet replace the plate with a sewer vent this will allow you to easily feed wires into the rig and you won’t need to remove dicor each time you upgrade stuff... Which seem to happen every 2-3 yeares
