weBoost Drive 4G-X RV Unboxing, Review and Install in our RV

We did all the research and it lead us to the weBoost Drive 4G-X RV. The install went well, probably longer because I don't like wires to be seen. After we had it installed it did as it was advertised. It boosted our cell signal.

I would have liked to see "speedtest" before and after - I know that is not what weBoost says is the test but to me what counts how much internet you have. Thanks for another fine installation video.

Great video guys. I am also OCD about running wires. I will spend days if I have to so they are behind the walls and hidden. 12v is the only way to go in an RV installation in my opinion. I use my refrigerator vent for my roof chase-way for all wires. I also installed an on/off switch for my cell booster near my RVs control panel area. However, your going full-time so you may not have a need for that. In today's world staying connected is important and some RV manufacturers are including boosters as OEM installed equipment. Very nice install. Stay safe and happy travels.

We have this unit also and I am very happy with the capabilities of the weBoost unit. Works best when you are 0-5 feet away from the internal antenna!!

Looks like Eternabond tape on your rear cap seam...great stuff, good idea, that should save you any leak problems in the future...we use it too! Weboost works good too...safe travels!

Well done video. Since you hardwired the booster to the 12v have you felt the need for an on/off switch rather than plugging and unplugging it so it is not drawing on the batteries when you aren’t using it?

We just installed a WeBoost in our Precept and used your video as a guide. We’re trying to connect the 12-volt power, but it only works if the light switch is turned on. Were you able to bypass the light switch on your installation or does it depend on having the switch turned on. I don’t want to leave my light on all the time. I’d appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks.
