Ive used chromecast for yrs on an older smart tv tho as of September 9th, my Netflix, everything comes up and just prior to loading movie choosen an error comes up saying can't play on this device, also this warning was displayed about 2 weeks earlier that come Sept 9 I won't be able to use this device ! Hmmm what now ?

Chromecast Audio was discontinued just before this video was released unfortunately. Actually, it was January 11, 2019 when Google stopped sales of it.
I believe you can use the Chromecast 3 for audio with the correct adaptor.
Can you confirm this at all?

Wait, so if all the Chromecast does - according to what you say in this video - is it being an interface to stream content from e.g. your phone or tablet to your TV, then why is there a need for a Chromecast in the first place if you could just screencast content from your mobile device to your TV directly instead?
I feel like either you've left a huge part of what a Chromecast does out or it's an outright waste of money.

I have a flat screen tv(non smart) in my bedroom and smart tv in my sitting room was planning on buying a smart tv for my bedroom so I could watch netflix and stuff but found chromecast and thought be cheaper to buy chromecast than new tv great idea👍
