As we all get older, many of us struggle with getting enough sleep. Are these changes a normal part of aging or is this just a popular misconception?

How do you know if you need more sleep? Your body smell. If you don't get your forth cycle where the organism cleans itself up, the toxins get evacuated through your body out with sweating and you smell bad. Your towel gets heavy smelly.
I sleep 4 hours only. To remedy this problem, I sleep early 8-9 pm to wake up about 1am. I drink coffee and start my day, 2-3 hours later I am sleep again for the next 3-4 hours.

Most people that say they only sleep 4 to 5 hours are really not telling the truth because when you add up the naps they take during the day they are getting about 9 hours sleep. They only sleep 4 hours at night.

Although I’m older and have insomnia, I definitely need more sleep now than I did when I was younger. I have had insomnia all my life not just as an older adult so I can’t factor that in.

I have tried not using my phone or TV for more than an hour, but then I lay in bed. Unfortunately I can’t take sleeping pills.

The older I get, the more sleep I need!! Everyone is different.
