I’ve been on Dr Ellie’s regimen (xylitol gum after eating/drinking and her mouthwash regimen 2x a day) for a little over 6 months and had 2 regular cleanings in that time period that have went well in that my gums are no longer bleeding during cleaning (it’s been bleeding for YEARS and they would say I have so much plaque). Recently, the hygienist wrote “gen min plaque” on their notes. I still have some ways to go since I have recession, pockets, etc. but it’s a big step in the right direction. Thank you so much to Dr Ellie for spreading her information and explaining the science behind it - as my dentist never did- I only found Dr Ellie after my dentist/hygienist had given me NO hope, no solution other than scolding me to "floss more" and said I needed to see a specialist.

I use oregano oil with minimum 70% carvacrol and diluted in olive oil on my toothbrush every time I brush. It kills all of the germs on my toothbrush and it keeps my gums free of periodontal disease. I only use a small dab of toothpaste on top of the oregano to brush with.

I had a regular teeth cleaning about three months ago. I was surprised how much the cleanings had increased in price. The dental office billed my insurance for $300 😮. My dental insurance paid $200 and I was responsible for the rest. What a rip off 😡. They billed my insurance for three different charges: #1 for the office visit, #2 for the cleaning itself, and #3 for the Dr to come in and glance at my X-rays for 5 minutes and leave. All he said was, “ it looks like we have to keep an eye on that tooth”. Really?

Also, about 20 years ago, my regular dentist at that time, told me that I needed a “deep cleaning” and referred me to a periodontal specialist. So I went and afterwards, I was charged $1, 000 for the deep cleaning. I was told to come back for a follow up. The Dr then proceeded to tell me that the cleaning “did not do the job as expected” and that he was going to have to cut into my gums and perform gum surgery because supposedly, I had an “infection”. I knew he was lying because when he said that, he did not look straight into my eyes. At that time, that supposed surgery was going to cost like $8, 000 or more. My gums looked nice and healthy; all pink colored. I told him I was going to think about it.

It’s getting to be that only the wealthy or the ones who have dental insurance can afford to go see the dentist anymore. Only in the U.S. is dental service unaffordable. BTW, 20 years later my gums are still nice and healthy and have never had any problems. Good thing that I could tell that Dr was lying and tried to deceive me. It didn’t work.

I haven’t been to the dentist in 5 years. The last time I went 5 years ago I was told my teeth and gums were perfect and they asked what I do . The time before that was 4 years prior . So in another year it’ll be one visit in a decade . I floss only when something is obviously stuck . I use a natural toothpaste w no fluoride or SLS or glycerin. I just eat healthy . Don’t smoke or do anything that depletes minerals like consume soda, no alcohol either . My teeth are also naturally straight which I’m just lucky to have .

I have no fillings at age 49. A dentist when I was 20 overreacted saying I needed a filling immediately, his manner made me question it so I didn't go back, waited years before another cleaning from another dentist. They said I had a small cavity and need it to be filled soon... that was 29 years ago and I still haven't filled that tooth! My teeth are very healthy and I brush extremely well, floss when I feel something stuck. Gums are super healthy.
The Dentist industry is built on doing things to your teeth that aren't necessary in many cases. Obviously sometimes it's required but here I am turning 50 and still haven't filled the tiny little filling that I've had 7 or 8 dentists tell me I should have filled. And I have no other cavities.

Since reading your book and following you on YT, I follow your oral regime exactly as you describe it Looking back, my entire dental experience has been a nightmare.. The last couple of dentists I tried to talk to were arrogant, rude, dismissive and only wanted to treat me the way THEY wanted.

Dr Ellie, i just found your videos today and have been binge watching! 😂 As a child, when a dental nurse visited my school, we were given plaque disclosing tablets. I had a crazy anount if plaque, which led to feelings of shame and over brushing in adulthood. Now i have receeding gums, huge gaps between teeth and am very upset and concerned. I'll start with xylitol mint available locally and order some of the stuff that you recommend from online shops. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion.

Sorry but 1, 2, 3 mm numbers on your probing depths is not considered a pocket, it’s considered within normal limits. 4 is considered gingivitis, which is reversible with good dental home care, 5 and above above is actually considered a pocket to be worried about and needs a change in a persons home care. -Your resident RDH

Thank you so much for explaining this problem with pockets and gum recession and bone loss, all so well. It makes a lot of sense. What a wonderful synergy you’ve come up with, a godsend you might say.
Having a new system in place, so well explained, feels like nothing short of just that.
I thought I would give it another couple of months before my next checkup since I feel the system is definitely working and yet I am sure I will be told to have a deep clean indeed like you mention as maintenance. Fair enough but i sincerely hope avoidable.
Listening to the pocket count etc is quite nerve-racking and recently dental cleans include numbing injections which I really am not comfortable with at all in more ways than one. For now am reassured by how clean and smooth my teeth feel and will have to muster up some courage to make my next appointment but would like to pass the 6 month period or even year before doing so.
Thank you so much for this wonderful enlightening clarification once again.

Dr.Ellie, you are truly sent by God to reach out to people like myself who need to be educated. No one talks about this here in Canada. I thank God for you!

‘Honest’ there’s a word I wouldn’t use to describe the doctors I’ve seen. I so appreciate these videos. It helps me to be informed.

I am forever grateful to Dr Ellie, following her recommendation, my oral health is good. Be patient, follow what Dr Ellie said. Too many dentists are crooks $$$. I am 67. I spent more than $200, 000 over the years to my dentists, not getting better, but slowly getting worse. Now I am good with Dr Ellie' recommendation. It is very cheap. It is appalling what dentists are doing to their patients 😢. Do no harm

I'm so excited about this. I've been using the gum and mints I just ordered from you after eating and drinking, getting the 10 mg a day in. I'm about to get the toothpaste and mouth rinses. I'm so excited!

Thank you Dr. Ellie. Thank you Dr. Ellie. Thank you Dr. Ellie. I am 67 and have been out of work and without dental insurance for three years. I thought I was doing okay....sometimes bleeding gums when I flossed. Well, I am beyond grateful that I found you --but, certainly not soon enough!! Your system was my Christmas gift to myself. Almost two months and I do feel better about the brightness and some of the plague seems to be fading as well. (( I NEVER saw that build up on the inside of my bottom of a lower teeth in my life! )) Yikes! Well, I am here to say about 6 weeks into it and I feel I am seeing some benefit of your program!! I am so looking forward to the six month mark. Thank you Dr. Ellie 😁SO very much!!

This is the first time, I heard a Dentist come up with a solution for periodontal disease. The only option they give is to remove teeth, but the bacteria, still there. I greatly appreciate your assistance, Dr. Ellie.

Dr. Ellie is incredible! I just found her a few days ago and immediately got everything for the complete mouth care system. I’ve been doing it for just three days and my mouth feels SO clean! I don’t have morning breath anymore! It’s crazy how this all works! AND I haven’t flossed which I never thought would be a thing. I was a religious everyday flosser before finding Dr. Ellie.
