I’m a 31 year old white man. When I entered the work force it was easy to walk in and get a job almost anywhere. 2012 recession threw my computer science associates degree in the trash with the economy. Was unemployed for 2 months at the beginning of 2024 for the first time in 11 years, and this man is 100% correct. 50+ applications with 1 telephone interview and that is with 9+ years in manufacturing. Found me a few side hustles to stay afloat, and I’m starting a business. Challenge Accepted! I’m going to build a future that my children can enjoy.
