I'm a Gen X. 45 years old. Conservative capitalist to my core. I have a high paying job with great benefits and my wife even more so than me. Having said that, our economy is way, way broken. The corporations have WAY too much power. They buy the politicians on both sides of the aisle and get whatever laws they want passed, which benefit the corporations and not the citizen taxpayer. It is a corrupt, incestuous broken system. Homeless camps are exploding. Drug abuse and ODs are exploding. These things barely existed in the 80s and 90s when I was growing up. Our government doesn't even pass a budget anymore. But they do got time to debate pronoun language and Hunter Biden's genitals. It reminds me of Mary Antonette saying "let them eat before they lopped off her head.
