We had Millenials come in and try to revamp all our processes, now it’s a mass and takes more time to do tasks than it did before so here we are, 5 years later and we have to switch back because they think the only way to do things is their way. They won’t accept, let’s not fix what’s not broken.

My gen Z daughter works hard and never calls out, but you better believe she will not take any shit! As someone who has been shit on while working like a dog my whole life, I couldn't be prouder. She will not work at a job for 15 years with few raises and taking abuse like my mom and I have. Except for my mother it's been 25 years.

Don't put up with it gen z. I worked 300 hour extra one year and got a poor review for not doing the boss's favorite employee's job on top of the other items i worked over to cover. Unpaid! I was told i was not getting the promotion and raise i was working for so i stopped caring. I only did my job and cut all tasks that were not mine. I got told i was not a team player. I left that job by working out a transfer to another unit, which my boss pretended was her and the head honcho's, that had created the hostile work environment, idea. It was not. They also told my new boss that they needed me to continue my work unpaid because they didnt know how to do it. I told my boss if she agreed i would quit.
