Möge es niemals wieder einen Krieg zwischen Deutschland und Russland geben . Den Menschen in Kaliningrad wünsche ich, dass sie glücklich werden in der Stadt meiner väterlichen Vorfahren . Ich wünsche mir auf Dauer eine Freundschaft zwischen den beiden Ländern besonders da es gerade nicht gut aussieht.

Es ist gut das es YouTube gibt, ist ein bisschen Freiheit, früher brauchte man Vertriebenenliteratur, ich habe noch ein Foto meiner Oma aus einem Königsberger Photostudio von 1944, warscheinlich kurz vor den schweren Bombenangriffen 1944, sie war bei der Luftwaffe und in Ostpreußen stationiert.

very tragic and heart breaking to see such a historical, cultural and architectural treasure gem get destroyed like that, reading the last message of the video and find out that the the German was still fighting till April 1945 when the fight was already in Berlin, what's the point? total madness, the city got destroyed completely, a large part of the city could have been saved as well thousands lives if they surrendered way before that day, same goes to most of Germany, whether if its Berlin Hamburg or any other city, the war was lost and the fighting was going on inside Germany from east and west, instead they kept fighting and dying and Germany got destroyed and turned into rubles, when i see pre ww2 videos of Germany, I almost cry even though I am not a German, such a beautiful country

Tvankstà, Tvankstė (ger. Twangste, Tuwangste), Former settlement of the Lithuania Minor, situated at the lower reaches of the river 'Prieglius, inhabited by the prussian tribe 'Sembai. Settlement first mentioned by Tacitus in 1st, century AD. On January 1254 'Teutonic order (mostly by knights from Chech - Central Europe) destroyed Tvanksta castle and erected instead a Castle of Konigsberg.
Prussian is one of the baltic languages, sister language to Lithanian and Latvian; Prussia is Baltic land, never germanic nor slavic and the archeology science is unabivalent of this. After Grunvald victory circa 1410 Vytautas the Great claimed East Prussia as his historic ancestral domain in writting. He have assigned Prussian nebleman 'Vitingai to govern over the seised Teutonic castles.
After the Soviet genocide of East Prussia, the first Russian colonists began to arrive in the Soviet-occupied Kaliningrad territory in the fall of 1945. On October 11, 1947, the Council of Ministers of the Soviet Union decided, in violation of the Hague Convention of 1907, and adopted a resolution “towards the expulsion of the Germans from the Kaliningrad region”.
Second attempt after Potsdam to resolve a legal status of the Kaliningrad region was made with the Two plus Four Aggreement, "Treaty and the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany“ Effective 15 March 1991 in which Germany and East Germany (two signatores) has denounced their claim to East Prussia. On the other side one of four WWII victory signatores, the Soviet Union's signature has no legal value there, since the Lithuania as one of the USSR repulic at that time already exited USSR legally and de facto by declaring inedependence earlier on the 11th of March 1990. Russia never really owned East Prussia and does not.

Кто написал эту чушь на 13:40? Советские войска атаковали Кёнигсберг только в 1945 и никаких бомбёжек в 1941 году со стороны СССР не было. Весь исторический центр Кёнигсберга был уничтожен англичанами, которые бомбили город 26 и 30 августа 1944 года. Для совершения этого акта вандализма были задействованы в общей сложности 340 Ланкастеров и было сброшено на город 480 тонн бомб, две трети из которых были с фосфором. Бомбили исключительно старый город Кёнигсберга, где погибло 6.000 мирных жителей, причём ни один военный объект при этом не пострадал. Виновником этой трагедии стали не русские, а Гитлер, но похоже, что уроки истории не усвоены.

I hope if Ukraine war will end, konigsberg oblast become East Prussia, russians will leave that city and all grey ugly blocks will be demolished and it will be rebuilt to german style
