Chain cleaner sprays are totally useless .If you clean with petrol, kerosene diesel tooth brush and enough time . 10 times more glunt and dirt is removed .

Petrol for cleaning and cheap engine oil for lube is the best combination. I am using this for almost 12 years.

Buddy u can go for rolon chain spray with half of motuls price… no matter how expensive chain lube u use u have to lube ur chain after every 400-500 kms … m using it from 2 years now it works great 👍

I think you should use a cardboard piece or something behind the chain. Other wise the cleaner might land on the break disk which might be a hazard. Also. You can use wd40 for cleaning i guess

Motul C1 penetrates through the o ring. It's unhealthy for the chain in the long run.

Motul Chain cleaner damages the O-ring. Plus Gear oil is better than These chain lubes.

I would recommend washing the bike first with a good spray foam and ph neutral shampoo.

Then You can use a tyre cleaner or a heavy duty degreaser to spray on the chain and give a first go. Once you are done drying the entire bike, you would need a bike chain cleaner that you spray in a small container and with a used toot brush, clean the chain entirely. Then you would dry the chain with rag bedore applying your chain lube. Remeber add a drop between the links before you give a final wipe for the excess of oil l.
