2024 Matric Results | In conversation with top achievers

We continue to celebrate the Matric class of 2024 that achieved an 87.3% pass rate, the highest in the history of South Africa. They have surpassed the 82.9% recorded in 2023.

This evening we're joined by some of the countries top achievers.. they are , Musawenkosi Buthelezi -Top achiever:Zimisele Secondary, Tumisho Selamolela - Christian Brothers College, Thandanani Mtshali - Top Achiever: Saint Dominics Catholic School for Girls, and Dzanga Mathavhathe - Top Achiever: Sutherland High School.

I'm not South African, but I'm extremely proud of this great achievement. I was one of these youngsters a lifetime ago, I am now a senior Engineer across three different fields.

May they continue to shine through university, and eventually go on to make immense contributions to that economy!!!💥💥💥💥💥💥
