You are NOT allowed to fail a student no matter if he/she has 0% more than once from grade 8 to grade 10 and the same for grade 11 to grade 12. This means a student may not be failed more than twice in his/her entire high school career. If the child fails, you are forced by the department of education to put the child through, no matter if the child has 0%.
You teachers will know what I am talking about. You could put a literal brick in school and it will get to matric.

They also employ a tactic called paper coaching, the children and teachers are forced to be at the school from early morning till very late at night memorizing old exam papers. The children are drilled to remember the format of the question asked, NOT to understand the question but just to remember the answer without understanding it.
So its like remembering a sequence of numbers without being able to count.
Once again you teachers will know what I am talking about.

Already a dropout of 37% from grade 10 to 12. What is the dropout rate from grade 1 to 12? Don't compare with failure in other countries. How will you improve if you are doing that. Siviwe you will not succeed if you follow old trends. Bring the facts to light.
