Thanks Minister for your Executive Summary. Quality improvement of our basic education needs to pay attention to the environments where these students are educated. Communities can do better by taking ownership of schools rather than using school environments as dumping sites.

Congratulations to all the matrics on passing. My concern is the 50% drop out rate of students not writing. I notice a record number of distinctions compared to pre 2000. Has the education standard dropped to allow such a record number of distinctions or are students more clever?

Poorly directed . Minister spoke so well played her part well but overall very little effort put in this programme. It’s the ending part that really doesn’t make sense, the MECs hugging each other as if they’re the matriculants, lot’s of walking around during pictures/handshakes, calling on prime ministers randomly etc. We can do better. The two boys just stood in the back waiting for the MECs to chat a little when it’s their moment🤚
