At the start Jordan stands like me when my Mum would bump into someone she knows in the supermarket and I would have to stay while they have a never ending conversation

I think the future is integrating wrestling to jiu jitsu and not have just a jiu jitsu coach but a wrestling coach to help out anybody struggling with wrestling

The section on wrist control just unlocked an aha! moment for me. Such seemingly obvious advice but just hearing it put into words is so helpful.

“I’ve seen people get hurt and dislocate their shoulder in this position.”

I love stuff like this. Simple, helpful, clearly explained info that you can immediately use. I always enjoy Joseph Breza’s videos. Thank you for sharing!

that cross wrist grab, and using your forearm in their elbow to make space for the underhook looks sick. i got to try that. i need more setups for underhooks

As a former varsity wrestler and current purple belt, this is one of the best wrestling for jiujitsu videos I’ve come across. Great work, thx for sharing.

I've reasearched years and years, to no avail, looked it up, asked, no one knew the answer of how to entry and get the underhook. 99% of grappling videos teach the underhook, and none introduce the entry to it, so I grinded and wasted many rounds trying to figure out how to enter inside and get the underhook. NOW I KNOW HOW. Thank you Breza, I mean it.

One more demand: how to entry and get the standing body lock bear hug. No video available, except you tell us to shoot a single, then up higher and bear hug ? Ok cool. Any other option to steal a bear hug spot. The reason I ask abut underhooks and bear hugs, is that they both give me a huge edge over jiujitsu guys for years, but since upperbelts deny me the entries, I have to be smarter.

The main lesson I learned from this is that cross-training is valuable and based.

Cheers from Brazil! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🤙🏼🤙🏼

Your videos are top top level! I'm learning a lot from many concepts materials you've made, I always thought they were way more valuable than just the techniques.

You are a great teacher and explain things so well that I learn more in your videos than with my senseis here in Brazil (and they are also awesome teachers).
I'm watching every video and I wish I knew your channel earlier! Keep it up with your videos, bro! You didactic is superb!

Sorry for my bad english! 👍🏼

I’m taking this to my gym next week, guys go in for single legs (myself included) and push into their partner. I’ve been defending single legs so well because I am just getting my foot down and then sweeping/uchi matta-ing everyone. Gotta build better habits and technique!

Like people like to say that guard is reverse mount, guard is also bottom quarters / or bottom 'turtle'. You want to do the same things from guard that you do in top quarters, attacking the opponents base.
