You totally embrace the spirit of a martial arts master. Sharing and passing on knowledge without any benefit to oneself. I will have my kids studying your videos. 3 of my kids are doing BJJ training twice weekly but I realise I can supplement their knowledge via these resources. In 5 yrs time I expect my kids to be quite formidable fighters it will be in part thanks to you. I'll let you know.

This video's massively unappreciated by amateurs. Great video, thank you!

Excellent detailed demonstration and really don't get why people write disrespectful comments when somebody such as Mr. Scully takes the time and effort to post so many helpful tutorials. Thank you Jason.

These videos are absolutely nthe best ever. there is no talking and super long useless discussion and explanations. Straight to the point. All very solid usable techniques.
Absolutely beautiful! This is what it should be like.

EXCEPTIONAL VIDEO! Even though your disclaimer states this is not intended to be an instructional video, I've learned QUITE A BIT from watching this! I'm having wrestling practice flashbacks!

Very Nice! The Realistic speed of the demonstrations and the dubed instructions are what seperate you from all the other videos. It's difficult to follow slow out- of breath instructions while asking the camera man to walk around to the other side. These vids are addictive! I can't wait to see what you upload next!

The Dropping Seoi Nage is also very good for no gi so long as you ensure they dont take your back by using your pulling hand to keep the leg from circling your back and send them over at the same time. I like the Uchi Mata entry to a Ko Ichi combination and if that doesnt work can always come back around for an O Ichi Gari, these are just things that work for my game, thanks for all the great vids im always learning things and applying them to my game where applicable. Thank You

I knew many of these takedowns, but your improvisation and rapid changes, when you fail with the 1st move, is very informative.

[I know the question wasn't directed at me but:] Yes if I were you I would. You start on the feet in competition so sometimes you need to train from there. But arm drags (And even the single-leg takedown can be very useful when you 'start down' (begin the free roll round on your knees) In fact there is a very good single leg attack that use can use to set up a double all while on your knees. Like I said, ask your instructors. But the arm drag principles work well on your knees.

I study Wugulun Shaolin. I love looking at martial arts that have developed from Wugulun. (Ninjutsu, Jujitsu, Karate, Muay Thai, Tae Kwon Do... Ect.) Where Shaolin Wugulun taught older techniques, the "newer" ways REALLY developed and Perfected the Grapples and Shrinking and Tossing and Trapping... God bless all who strive to protect themselves. I love watching these fighters, because ( As Wugulun originally had instructed ) "To strike another, is to reveal the flaws in one's own soul, "...

Great tips Jason; thanks a lot. And guys before any more of you make your uninformed comments think about the fact that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a descendent of Judo and many Greco-Roman/Collegiate wrestling techniques mesh well with Judo. So don't act like you shouldn't expect to see Judo techniques in a BJJ demonstration...

I like the fast paced explanation of this video. I watched it over and over and got a lot of good information. It does seem that many of the moves are wrestling based but they all work. They all require a lot of practice to perform at that level but they are all effective in any style. Thanks for the information.
