I feel like everyone wanted to run away when they were little🤣

I remember one time when I was about 8 I took a heavy duty sleeping bag, food, clothes, shoes, matches, and some money to run away forever. I lived in the middle of nowhere and I was so hurt angry that I was determined to disappear. So I walked four miles away from my house and got picked up by an older farmer. He was super nice and brought me to his house until I calmed down. He told me a story about how his sister ran away at thirteen and was murdered less than a week away from home. Turned me off of running away for a while. I will never forget his kindness and wisdom. He drove me home before my parents had returned from their jobs and I never saw him again. Sometimes the wisdom and kindness of strangers is all anyone needs.

I was serious until I opened the door and it was pouring rain outside in the middle of the night. My dad just sat there and watch me attempt to leave with a 2 days worth of clothes and a Princess Tiana blanket. I said I would leave tomorrow and immediately forgot.

I was a actually smart when I tried to "run away" as a kid. I always planned it out: pack all the stuff I needed, walk to the village right next to mine, which was a mile or so, and find someone to live with. But I never actually did it because I loved my parents way too much.
