Tips:
Cut your hair short if you’re a girl so less people will think you’re one, sadly it’s more dangerous for girls, it also helps with changing how you look so your parents can’t recognize you
Use cafes to charge your phone and get a treat to make you a bit happier
For making money, you can buy and resell gum for more, and selling old things like toys and books helps
Bring a friend or sibling if they’re also getting abused, don’t force them if they don’t want to though
Don’t eat candy often, it’s expensive and doesn’t do anything to fill you up
Watch videos or compilations of people who are also running away or are homeless for warnings and more tips
Sleep in parks, airports, abandoned buildings (be careful with these three, you could get kicked out and it’s really dangerous), cheap motels, friends houses, and meadows
Change everything on your phone, delete your family’s and untrustworthy friends’ contacts (even people who don’t abuse you, they can tell everybody else where you are), change your email and your phone number, etc
Make sure you’re prepared to eat less, your goal takes a while but it’s completely necessary but even with it you might not be able to eat as much
Bring things you don’t want that don’t take up much space in your backpack so that if you are in a bad place with money you can sell things, or you could bring stuff to make things to sell
Some countries trade you money for bottles and cans, bring your old water bottles there
Go at midnight as quietly as possible and bolt out, go on a train, tram or bus to get away as fast as you can, and never stop getting further and further from your old home
ONLY GO IF YOURE GETTING If you go for no reason, you’re ruining your future and risking everything for nothing! You can also make your parents think they’re awful people, some people k111 themselves because they think they’re a bad parent!!
Get at least 200$ before you go, and keep it safe so nobody steals it, especially in a park. If you use a sleeping bag, put the backpack kinda far in so nobody can grab it and run

And if you are actually going to commit bring a pocket knife of a bat to defend yourself.

In case you need to text your parents. I know you’re getting away from them, but you never know what you’ll encounter.

I have some questions about running away since I am planning to in January
What places do you go to shower?
How do you get all your shots and doctor’s appointments in?
What places are best to live in when you run away?
How do people afford insurance or other necessities?
Let’s say I want to sell my $1200 dollar earrings? Do I take them to a paw shop or sum?
For the airport, do I just bring cash of the flight I wanna take and get on but what if I don’t have a passport?
And last of all…
Are there any Boca Raton(Florida) besties around to runaway with me? I don’t want to go alone:(
Preferably 15-19 year olds because I am not sure about running away with little kids because they shouldn’t have to go through that stress so young.
