As of today (10th of February 2020) parts of this video that have to do with the firmware (namely side button functionality) aren't up-to-date anymore.
Novations 1.0.4 firmware for the X and Mini Mk3 re-enables regular side button/pages by introducing a new mode called "Legacy" mode which is accessible through the setup menu.
