To make it short:
For me personally, the Push 2 is very usefull in the studio environment and beloved regarding the Display the functions and the great knobs, maybe sometimes in combination with another Jam Pad controller like a Launchpad or an APC 40 MK2 as well.
On the other side, for "outside the studio sessions" like traveling, live gigs or cozzy sofa Jams etc., I love the size and functionality of the Launchpad Pro MK3 and sometimes together with the Launch Control XL.

I bought one of these a few years back to use with FL Studio.
I'm stubborn and still use FL Studio 9 to this day for most my beats [using 20 only for some plugins that don't work with 9].
I know it worked awesome with 10 on but due to the fact that I much prefer 9 I ended up giving it to a talented young producer in Halifax.
Really hope he got some use out of it, because it's a dope device, just not for me!

Great video -- particularly interesting to hear the comparisons between the X, Pro, and Push 2, and your thoughts on why the Pro might be a little better for production. Have been considering buying a Pro, the release of the X was causing me some indecision. I'm more interested in production than performance, though, and if the pads on the Pro are about as good as on the X, the extra features of the Pro sound pretty tempting (and in the US the Pro is currently only $40 more than the X).

Great video! I'm really tempted by the Launchpad X, and portability is key for me. However, the Push 2 has been out so long I feel like Push 3 could arrive at any time (and maybe a Push 3 Mini?).

since live shows died down other than for some streams, i hardly use my launchpad (first gen). been considering a velocity sensitive one. does the launchpad pro have that customization tool for building easy layouts like that?
