When doing a task, it's better to collaborate with someone to achieve optimum results.
It pays to be resilient when being ostracized by someone who is oblivious to your hurt feelings. In retrospect, it's better to be nonchalant when people scoff at us. Rather than slouch in your couch, it's actually rejuvenating to go for spur of the moment trips to the beach. Remember, being unique means we don't have to assimilate the traits and lifestyle of other people. It's not plausible to be clones of other people. Sometimes, people send ambiguous signals as to what they really want. But that should not hinder us from understanding them.

Funny fact: every word that comes from Latin, which you Engliah native speakers consider to be hard or advanced is usually a pretty common word in Romance languages. So, it is quite amusing for any Latin Based language speaker to hear that collaborate is a difficult word.

Vanessa, I think the OPTIMUM way of studying English (at least to me) is watching interestings videos on youtube (like yours) and keeping track of our development by creating sentences with news words in the comments section.

Thank you for the lesson!

I love this kind of test. It makes me realize how vocabulary has more to go.

I’m gonna describe all the words at optimum degree. In retrospect, I realised to be resilient no matter how intense the situation is. While working with my senior, he scoffed at my working style and hindered me to work while collaborating with him. Still I tried to assimilate with my organisation culture and become nonchalant about small things. Due to oblivious nature situations become ambiguous and he started ostracising me while working in team. Later on I realised that happened spur of the moment which is plausible. And looking back on to this I am slouching on the bed and not thinking much.

This is my first video where I started working on it on vocab.

Please like if I have attempted well and comment for correction. Thanks 🙏🏻

But remember: the more advanced word is for an english native, the easier is for a spanish, italian, french, portuguese ....one.

As a young man with a resilent body, my fitness was at its most optimum level. My football coach introduced a team building activity that supposedly could improve the collaboration between players and rejuvenate the team spirit. I was filled with ambiguity and scoffed at the idea. The idea sounded plausible but i wasn't going to let it hinder my standing as a cool, aloof and nonchalant player. At the spur of the moment, I even pushed my coach away and ostracized the rest of the players by sequestering myself in the club house as they proceeded to do their outdoor activity. I was totally oblivious of the consequences of my action. As it turned out, I was not selected to play in the finals. In retrospect, as I slouched in the armchair at Starbucks, I realised that I should have learnt to assimilate into the team better. It was all too late by now

This video is very informative. I am unfamiliar with words she tackled but when she discussed them I realized that I can really use them in constructing sentences. I also like her smile, she is full of energy and grace in discussing. Thank you speaker!
