Hi Lucy, I am a blind person and unfortunately I can’t take this test. It would be great if you can read out loud all the options so it can be more accessible for everyone. Thank you

I love how I made one mistake in B1 and one in C1 but none in C2 😂

I believe last question in B1 section could be either A or D depending on the context. If the reporting happens on the same day, you could say "He said he has to work tomorrow" since 'tomorrow' hasn't arrived yet. If the reporting happens farther in to the future, you would have to say 'He said he had to work the following day'.

As a native English speaker from America, I had absolutely no idea what a clause was, haha. I don't think we specifically learned about them, so it makes learning other languages quite hard since all these basic grammar terms weren't necessarily taught to everyone, so I really do start from ground zero.

Very interesting. I am a native speaker, (my father a former asst. speech and debate professor) and I did get them all correct, but I see the difficulties of the sentence structures you chose for your examples. Very sophisticated. I know many native speakers who would not get them all. Great video - great service to the community!

I think for us non-native speakers, grammar is something we have been learning in school ever since, but speaking of how to use the right word, phrasal verb, idiom, slang, and collocation in the context, that makes things really tough and becomes a nightmare for some of us, and it demands that we go beyond the courses and dive into the culture of the language and so much more. Do I say I have a C1 level because I had most of the responses? Absolutely not, because for non-native speakers, grammar is our comfort zone, and that holds us back from the journey of fluency. So I need to look into my weaknesses and turn them into strengths. I appreciated this marvellous challenge. Thank you so much

Imagine getting the answers wrong on the easy level but getting it right on the hard level😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm Dutch, and I got everything correct, except for level B1 question 3. I said "a", and it should be "d". I was in doubt, between "tomorrow" and "the following day", but it's not about that at all. It's about the form of having, it's in the past tense, of course. He said he HAD to work the following day. I'm still proud of myself.

I'm a native English speaker from the United States. I got every question right except for B1 - Question 3. I chose "a, " but I would argue that the answer for B1 - Question 3 could be either "a" or "d, " depending on the situation.

For example, if on December 14, 2022, a friend says, "I have to work tomorrow, " and I report this to another friend that same day, I would use "a. He said he has to work tomorrow."

Now, if on December 14, 2022, a friend says, "I have to work tomorrow, " and I report this to another friend two days later, on December 16, 2022, I would use "d. He said had to work the following day."

If I'm wrong in my thinking, feel free to correct me and explain why I'm wrong.

Hi, just wanted to share my result with y'all. I did the full test that you shared in the description and got C2 which is pretty supprising because I am not native English speaker. I am from the Czechia and learned English just by reading a lot of fan-fictions, only last month I started to read books in original. So I wanted to share that you can learn this language or any language really, just from a lot of reading. Have a good one :)

I can do C2 pretty easily. Problem comes when I speak and forget some vocabulary or when I remember my native language words instead of English counterparts 😂

It's funny that I found B levels more tricky than C😂. I got C2 despite not being a native English speaker.❤
You really have good charisma when teaching, and that encourages one to seek to learn more. Great job!

I’ve made a mistake in the question with “criterion- criteria”, I just totally forgot which of the 2 variants is singular or plural 😅 Although there weren’t any mistakes in C2 level questions, I doubt I’m C2. I think, I’d better take the deeper test 😁
