I'm a Democrat in PA, USA; it was almost startling to see a Democrat and Republican have such a normal, calm conversation. I was so pleasantly surprised! Over here in the USA, the news is so violent whenever a Republican and Democratic reporter meet, especially from FOX Entertainment (news).
In my home town, I'm seeing more and more Harris/Walz yard signs pop up! It fills me with a feeling of hope and joy. Kamala is a very experienced, quick-witted, empathetic woman. I hope with all my heart that she wins, for it will mean good things for both the USA, the security of NATO, and allied countries. Trump is a proto-authoritarian dictator wanna-be and CONVICTED FELON on 30+ counts, that's what my European friends need to know. He and his loyalists are setting up a plan called Project 2025 that will in many ways mimic other authoritarian countries. It's scary to watch.

At the Democrat National Convention Kamala Harris spoke very adamantly and sternly that she would stand by NATO and very strong support for Ukraine and made it abundantly clear she has no time to appease dictators like Putin and Kim Jong Un and Syria Dictators, , She was extremely strong about this.
