Great video! The 40 breeder is such a great tank! I have a 40 breeder with a huge colony of multis, 40+ after starting with 5 about a year ago. I also had a 40 breeder with Julie’s, Calvus, Leleupi, Buscheri. It could work for many Tanganyikans. Currently that tank will soon house some Rainbow cichlids, but the possibilities are endless for small cichlids.

Planning to set up some cichlids in my 40 gallon tank soon, recently had to strip and reseal my tank and donated my rummynose tetras because of the stress from emptying the tank and resetting them up they were starting to die off. The only things in my tank currently is assassin snails and plecos that both are breeding like crazy. hoping I can get a handful of colorful bunch of cichlids that wont eat the baby plecos and are good sized to attract the eye.

I have a pair of Blue German Rams in a 40g breeder with a dozen Red Eyed Tetra. I'm thinking of moving them to a 75 I'm close to getting setup and adding a few more rams and tetra. Then doing a rescape on that 40 and moving my 2 female apistogramma cacatuoides to there and again adding to their number. All of my tanks are heavily planted.

Thanks cichlids bro's beautiful membuna cichlids but i had two in my 55 gallon tank and they both out grow my 55 year gallons so to me I think 40 gallons are a little too small for cichlids I think 75 gallons and up is more better but very nice membuna tank very beautiful 👍🏼👍🏼
