What is the real James Bond 007 spy watch?
Omega?
Rolex?
CWC?

If I recall correctly, in "The Meg 2", Jason Statham's character (a former Navy rescue diver) wears a CWC Navy issue. A surprising level of attention to detail in a movie about prehistoric dino-sharks.

Nothing says a “gray man” like an Aston Martin, tailored suit and the company of a stunningly beautiful woman. A flashy watch will of course instantly break the cover😊

I hope you do a longer video on this CWC RN diver watch. It's a really cool watch and I love your G10 review.

My CWC RND is probably the watch I wear the most, nice to see it getting some love

You are absolutely correct! I've got a CWC SBS Diver's (day/date) in black on a nylon Bond-style single pass and have thought it the perfect Bond watch for quite some time now. No way would Bond wear a watch with open sword hands! Well done!

I think the chances are that Bond would wear a quartz watch.
Just makes sense as a tool, more accurate and robust movement.
There were no quartz watches when Fleming wrote the character so made sense that he wore an automatic Rolex.
But Brosnan wore a quartz seamaster in Goldeneye.
Definitely fits the bill.

Watching this while wearing my CWC RN Diver and washing the dishes - so at least I can use the 300 metre wr. Love the watch, looks great and can take a beating. I have the older model with the ETA movement and the 60 click bezel. Great vid, cheers from Switzerland

I sold my 36 year old submariner that I just didn't wear anymore and bought a CWC Quartz RN Diver. I loved it and wear it all the time. Together with my G10 Issued watch I love the simplicity.

A friend of mine was wearing one of these Quartz CWC's when we met up last week. I was so impressed, I ordered one the next day, which arrives tomorrow. A great watch that Bond would have worn without a doubt if not for the Omega on a Bark and Jack strap of course!

CWC gang 😎!! The unit I was in was issued Marathon GSARs and lots of dudes wore them, no idea why your dad and his mates didn’t wear a free watch.

The first watch on Bonds wrist in the film was a Gruen Precision 510.

Excellent! I have a CWC G10 and agree they are really good. It seems very accurate and rarely needs a quick reset. Mine is 99 issued.

I returned mine to stores and bought a Seiko 7548-700B ( A Quartz version of the SKX007)which is still going strong after 41years and is the go to watch for any rough work.

*Fleming. One “m”. I have several CWCs, including the fully-polished RN and the SBS. Great GADAs, that nobody is likely to notice or want to steal. Unlike an Omega.

Monnin style cases are currently making a comeback. CWC deserves to be recognized as a brand that kept this case shape in production for many years. One of my favourite quartz watches.

I own the CWC SBS DIVERS ISSUE QUARTZ WATCH MK.2 DAY/DATE, BLACK and can't believe how much I wear it. I love it and its WOW

The real reason Bond wears an Omega is because he’s on the waitlist for a Daytona

Bought this watch a few months ago and at a very very good price from an auction. So delighted you have made this video.
