How to change the settings for Apple lightning to 3.5 mm headphone jack adapter?

My advice is to buy only the Orginal Apple lightning Adaptor for the below reasons:
1) It is not really that expense adaptor
2) The quality of the sound is always important and you will lose it if you use the copy convertor
3) The copy one always breaks faster and keeps discounting while you listening to music.

Just a heads up, my iPhone 8 had a different twist to it: I had to go into the Bluetooth settings to actually activate the lightning adapter.
This means that the headphones+adapter (for some odd reason) need to “pair” with the iPhone and will only work IF Bluetooth is on.

This video right here. Thank you so much for posting this video. Ever since iOS 15.0.1 or 15.0.2 I have been unable to use my microphone. I went and purchased another Apple dongle thinking that was the issue. My microphone still didn’t work and then I remembered the screen where you select microphone or other. This is when I went in search of your video. How many people do you think have purchased new dongle‘s or throwing their dongle away because they thought it didn’t work. Another BS moneymaker for Apple. The thunderbolt two headphone jack dongle is the second most popular item Apple sells. It makes sense for Apple to not included in the new iPhones or for that matter of charging brick. Not for the consumer but Apple. When I sing I use and I rig pre-but I never thought too select other because I still listen to my headphones through the device. I have other people search for this video and find it helpful. What iOS version are you using? iOS 14.4.1 does not have "Lightning Adapters" under Headphone Notifications.
