I'm receiving lots of comments, and I appreciate it. However, I post other videos that I believe are more useful, practically speaking, because I did them in college such as permutations and combinations.

This is pretty straightforward and simple. I do not understand why so many have a problem with this.

Part of me is saying good that someone is bringing this up, the other part is saying anyone that went to school should know this very easily. I’ve been out for many decades and its pretty straight forward.

What in real life circumstances can equations like this be applied to? for example: Square roots can be used in carpentry what would I be doing to use this?

29 mate. Look at the comment above yours, it explains it really well. He waffles on too much sometimes. Don't give up, im just learning it at 58yrs old.😊

On the 4th calculation, shouldn't you multiply 64 x 3, then add the 7 and then add the 1? Shouldn't multiplication (x3) come before addition (+7) and (+1)?

Basic calculators directly solve it not using pemdas/bemdas if you put everything in at once without hitting equal after each grouping

My upbringing is Chicago city born and raised and I went to Stone Academy and it took a few years but i realized my mother was right to keep me there my math teacher was a Golden Apple winner Mr. Donald Jones and he wanted everyone to show their work in a certain format and the amount of pointless steps modern 2020+ common core stuff is almost intentionally confusing especially when we see the ignorant take som much of the country now.

I'm trying to answer this question, okay?

(5+2) X (9-6) + 4²/2 = ?

In the brackets:
(5+2)=7
(9-6)=3

So, 7 X 3 = 21

Next, 4²/2 = ?
4² = 16
4²/2 = 16/2 = 8

The answer is 21 + 8 = 29
29, is this the correct answer?

He writes his numbers from the bottom up so you need to take the inverse of his answers.
