I thought He wept because they rejected Him in spite of all the love He showered on them

Help me understand this.
Jesus weeps upon seeing Jerusalem,
It seems wild that God would display sadness over the world he allows us to exist in

Yes. AND it can be referenced to the Nightmare in Paradise Ca. !!..Ref' Bible /which ever one you have....about.... Luke19:41 And when he(Yeshua/Jesus), got near by, .. ‘he wept over it.
42. saying: "If you, even you, had discerned in this day the things having to do with peace - but now they have been hid from your eyes.
43. Because the days will come upon you when your enemies will build around you a fortification with pointed stakes and will encircle you and distress you from every side,
44. and they will dash you and your children to the ground, and they will not leave a stone upon a stone in you, because you did not discern the time of your being inspected."
....Aaa, now go back to before Luke 19:40 and to Read vs 19: 39+40 “...Teacher rebuke your disciples But in reply he said : "I tell YOU, if these remained silent, the stones would cry out"
AND DON'T THE STONES CRY OUT" ! They are Rubble and 'Dust' and we "the people" aren't allowed into the town of ”Paradise"....! ! !..
How DARE THEY. prevent People going in to Paradise Ca., to look, see the Nightmare!, and sob, and Grieve...
