Why did Jesus Weep? #Israel #Shorts

The exciting part of this was how personal it was for Jesus. When Jesus came, it was his friend Lazarus, not just anyone. And his friends, Mary and Martha, are weeping. The Bible says Jesus weeps with them, right? The shortest verse in the Bible, Jesus wept, happened here. And what's cool about that is that you see, even though Jesus knows he's going to resurrect him, he cries with them in the moment. Because present pain is real, even though you have a future promise, but then he stands before the tomb, and he prays. And he prays, "Father, I know you always hear me, "but for the benefit of everyone around me hearing this prayer, "will you answer it?" And then when you say Lazarus, come forth. And the Bible says the dead man got up and crawled out of this tomb. And so when we walk out this way, we'll walk out the same way he walked from death into life.

God bless you all, not long ago i preach this same message at the radio ministry, and said that when lazarus was resurected the roting smell was still in the tumb there and lazarus smell it, , the magits fell of him and he saw them fall off him, and those near him saw and smell the stink.

Jesus knew that He would raise Lazarus and that his sisters would be comforted. So I’ve always considered that possibly Jesus wept (He didn’t just weep; it was greatly anguished weeping) because of all the sin that He would take onto Himself shortly after, and that sin, having entered the world and mankind, would be the ultimate cause of His friend’s death.
