A man in church "listened to the woman" (he gave her credit for a point he brought up), and is suffering for it. (Jesse jokes with him about it.) Can you weep without emotions?

We know of three times our Lord Jesus wept.
He wept at the death of His friend, Lazarus
He wept while looking over the city of Jerusalem when they rejected Him and was heartbroken over humanity's sinful nature, and before the crucifixion He went through anguish in the Garden.
He was God who lowered Himself to feel and live like a human, to create a new way of life for His people. Amazing He was, is, and always will be. 💖🙏

Yes - Christ wept out of emotions. Our High Priest can be touched with feelings of our infirmities!

Jesus was both human and divine. Yes he had emotions and feelings. He could get tired, had to sleep and eat. He could die and raise from the dead. Jesus wept with perfect love, perfect feelings, perfect sorrow.

This is so simple…for objective people, mostly men. Emotions and feelings is the primary powers of the flesh, but NOT the spirit. To further apply this Truth, emotions and feelings are vital to process events, but are terrible drivers and are not good criteria for making decisions and immediate choices. In other words: feelings are a better servant than a master.

The difference is Jesus suffered not from his own actions but he wept n suffered from watching others who were still in darkness. He didnt suffer for himself like we all do from ego

Every time a man listens to the woman he suffers... That's very powerful, and very true!!! 😮

I always thought that when Jesus wept that was because He was feeling the pain and panic and grief that comes when a loved one passes, when Jesus wept it was because in His humanity He was feeling the grief of the mourners, the pain from Mary and Martha, and He KNEW that He alone had the power to overcome death. That if they would only believe in Him they need not fear death anymore. So...in His humanity, He was present w them in their grief, and in His divinity He was hearing thier lamenting, prayers, their hearts cry . ..and so...Jesus wept. Thank God our Lord isn't standoffish. Thank God He understands why we feel how we do, be it right or wrong on our end. If it's correct His Spirit will agree, if we are wrong or in sin, He leads us to repentance in those areas. So...repent, and believe. Much love to whomever stumbles across this.

Jesus wept along side Mary and Martha. God is always with us in our pain. It’s an illustration of His boundless love for us.

I’d say Jesus’ reasons for weeping were more than warranted. The fate of all humanity is a pretty good reason to get emotional

Uhhhh! What? I mean Jesus did not stub His toe. When Jesus wept over Jerusalem that was clearly because He was saddened by Jerusalem's continual hardness of heart. Clearly, His tears were a reflection of His emotions at the time.

Emotions makes us cry Jesse. Look dude I agree with somethings you say but when you don’t believe Jesus is God, now I’m questioning everything you say. Jesus is God and God in 3 person, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Whatever though. I hope you make it to Heaven my guy.

We all have emotions. How we react to those emotions is what defines our character.

What i find amazing and sad about Jesus in the Bible: Nowhere does it say, “Jesus laughed…”

So stuck in "owning the left" mode that he forgets logic and love sometimes.
