I live in, Pakistan but the 15 rupees is way too much of an exaggeration, 15 rupees doesn't even make 10 cents . This service would cost almost 500 to 1000 rupees almost 2 to 4 dollars.

Us here, seems like so much work, for a replaceable service part, (mechanic for 30yrs, owned shop for last 12yrs), but amazing skills. Understand sometimes parts are hard to source, i had the privilege of working on alot of vintage and odd-ball vehicles, last one was a 1938 Plymouth, you aint going uptown and buying parts at the chain stores...old fella, one town over, has a small machine shop and a couple of steam tractors. I took many parts over to him, and a chunk of scrap steel and a day or two, he made many new parts! Skills like that are amazing!!

Those who say it cannot be done are being interrupted by those who are doing it. I know in America we throw it away and buy a new one because it is cheaper for us to do it that way however, those another countries are not as fortunate as we are we are, and they find a way to do it and make it work.
