What an excellent instructional video!
I just watched the doc about John Lee Hooker on The Documentary Channel... superb!
I recall the first time I heard John Lee, back when I was about 11 and it was the album Hooker n'Heat ... Brilliant!!

Love this groove. The rhythm part is a good left fore arm workout on its own.

I would really like to see some videos about some of the more experimental styles. Some indie stuff like Johnny Marr, or maybe some spacey stuff like Matt Bellamy.

Major lesson.  Thank you.

ps. can someone please describe the kind of person that gives a thumbs down on a free video where people give their time away?   Really?

Could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE spend a lesson on how to coordinate your right arm muscles while playing really fast? You would do a lot of people a huge favour! Cheers from Holland

@lookylooky2006 you can download a metronome on your phone that will allow you to tap to the beat and it will know the bpm

I enjoyed the lesson. This is the first time I've come across you on YouTube. I was trying to make out the brand of your guitar. The logo on the head seems familiar but it just wouldn't come to me. I couldn't see it in enough detail to recognize letters.

Great lesson! A bit new to the major Pantetonic scale and guitar in general. Are you using the first position for E there near the nut? I don’t have an amp yet but I’m going to try this anyway.

Great lesson, what kind of dimarzio pickup is that in the neck position of your guitar?
