All Windows shutdown sounds in YouTube shorts:

All Windows startup sound but it is shorts version

P.S , before dislike this video , please notes:

1.Windows Whistler used 2000 sound until build 2485(build 2481 does have windows xp sounds but they still use 2000 sounds as default).
4.Windows 8,8.1,10 used windows 7/vista startup sound.
how to enable it:
- Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Sound and click Sounds.
- Check the "Play Windows Startup Sound"
- Click OK and close the window
- Go to Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options, in the left sidebar, click
"Choose what the power button do"
- Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable", and uncheck "Turn on fast
startup(recommended)" and click OK then close Control Panel

Images are from BetaWiki and other sources.
Please do not comment that my Windows Whistler , Windows Server 2003 , Longhorn , 8 , 8.1 , 10 used wrong sounds.

Please like and subscribe :)

for people who thought the windows whistler, windows server 2003, longhorn, 8-10 sounds are incorrect in this video,

Windows Whistler sounds are actually 2000's. The startup sounds that you thought was the windows 2000 beta 3 build 2000 startup sounds reversed, windows 98 shutdown sound reversed, and the level up sound from a microsoft game i think. and those 3 sounds are combined. and the shutdown sound you thought on windows whistler are actually beos 5.0 startup sound.

Windows server 2003 are actually uses XP sounds. the startup sound you thought was the song that used in windows server 2003's commercial i think.

Windows longhorn are actually uses XP sounds. the sounds you thought was from Samsung Theme Manager for Windows XP. i know, it feels uncomfortable, because that FANCY-LOOKING os are actually uses XP sounds.

Windows 8-10 are actually uses Vista's startup sounds but its not enabled by default. The windows 8 startup sound you think are actually the logon sound that unused. the windows 10 startup sound you think are actually from hololens i think.

Edit: perfecting my words and adding some message

Windows 98 was by far the most futuristic sound I had ever heard back in 1999 when I began using computers. It truly felt like a step into “the digital world”.

Windows 11 has different startup screens: in video it was screen from windows 11 RTM (ready to manufacturing), but if you use windows 11 v22H2/23H2 there is spinning circle instead of spinning dots below the logo

Never noticed the similarity between the Windows 98 startup sound and the original PlayStation boot up sound ‘til now!

I know that the guy who designed the original PlayStation boot up sound (Fujisawa) had to engineer around the small size of the PlayStation’s boot ROM (it was too small to hold an audio track for “what we actually hear” when we turn on a PlayStation), and he accomplished this by taking a couple of audio tracks which were “small” (like a second or so each) and slowed them down and/or reversed them so that, once they were stitched together, they created a much larger combined effect in a small deliverable.

I now wonder if that same approach (essentially a form of audio compression?) was needed/desired by Microsoft for Windows 98 as well, or if they just went with the grandiose chords for some other reason (maybe it was just the fad at the time).
