Since my birth in 2002 and till 2011 I grew up with windows Xp. So much memories. Me and my brother usually sat together in the afternoon and started playing all those old games yeah cod 1, 2 and then deus ex and more like wolfenstein return to castle. And then when we closed the xp and the sound sparked in our heads we waited for the next day. My brother passed away two years ago and not a day goes away when I don't think of him. Everybody may hate us Indians. But we have a heart like everyone else. I loved my brother too dearly. Even if the British called us dogs we were humans from our hearts . I miss him too much

From windows 2000 through now I remember. I think my dad at one point had a windows 2000 for a little bit so I would hear it but I grew up with a windows Xp

Everyone knows 2001, and I have a vague memory of the 2001 sound in my very early elementary days, but i had completely forgotten about the 2007 one and that nostalgia just hit me like a bus.

0:27 damn that sound brings back so much memories from when I was a kid. I was born in 2004 and we had this sound on our family computer... That I broke later own by downloading some bad stuff. We still have it but it doesn't work. Imma try to fix it one day. At least get the files back from the hard drive

When I heard Windows XP I got a lump in my throat remembering back to when the computer was shared by the whole family and it sat in the living room. Unheard of now really.

I remember all of these, but the real nostalgia blast is with XP. I remember installing it and booting it up for the first time. Honestly every time I hear that sound it's like being 15 all over again.
