Thank you for posting this! I had shingles in late September 2020, and this is exactly my issue along with nasty pain and numbness. Unfortunately, it affected my right shoulder/arm and I am right-handed. Now I am learning to be more or a southpaw. Information on the kind of exercises would be appreciated.

Glad to see this and the other video. As I type, I'm in week 7 post shingles. It started on day 1 with noticing sensitive-to-the touch minor pain in my lower right arm and within 24 hours progressed to muscle twitching and weakness. Some background: I have had MS 20 years, but am not disabled --doing great because I'm on an Immunosuppressing drug called Ocrevus. I had been infused 9 days before onset. So after 3-4 days of progressive sensory and motor problems in the right arm, my rash appeared. I was given normal Shingles treatment - 7 day prednisone pack and 10 days of Valtrex, 7 weeks later my right arm is starting to improve, but muscle tone, numbness in the arm, and painful (post-herpetic) thumb area are really problematic - painful. Using a mouse and the keyboard to type this is hard (I sometimes get a window where the gabapentin seems to be working or the muscle tone relaxes or the thumb doesn't exude pain). Anyway - this is one of the worst experiences I've had. There is little written about motor involvement and Shingles.

I’m glad to see videos on this because almost every doctor I been to told me there is nothing that can be done and I just have to deal with it until it go away.😱😢😫 but I been on gab for awhile nothing was happening so I just stopped. Then now I’m just on oxy. I’m only 27 . Also my doctor now wants to try a pain patch called buprnorphine or butrans are you familiar with that and if it will help? This is a lot depressing and to see that it can take a year or 2 😭 my life 😢 it’s hard to do anything anymore.

Yep, having beautiful skin is just an additional bonus AFTER at last ridding yourself of the pain and burn. Does not really make a difference what approach you take, for example, with Kaena Ramingler’s technique it takes less than 7 days tops.

I am 8 months with the severe pain from undiagnosed shingles. The extreme burning is what is making me miserable. I cannot find anyone that addresses this problem. Do you know what can be done? I have no difficulty with moving my arms or legs. It's all around my ribs and back. I don't know if I can live with this. Took Gabapentin but couldn't function day to day. I stopped this med after slowly reducing the dosage. It didn't take the burning away just made it seem less. Now I'm back to extreme burning in the evenings. Any suggestions from any one, please.

Thank you for your video. Can I ask you what type of home exercise program this patient can have? ( I am a student and I am writing a paper on similar case). Thank you.

Looks like frozen shoulder has developed over several months. I believe I followed the same path. Shingles lead to C5 intense pain center & then a frozen shoulder. 😝

Interesting video. I'am now ten months after shingles and have stil a painful skin on my back. I go to work every day with just a few mild painkillers in the morning. Does the PHN pain go away after one or two years without treatment, because I don't noticed any improvement over the last four months?

I caught shingles the day of my cervical laminectomy without fusion. My cord swelled and was temporarily paralyzed on my left side. I caught shingles on my left bicep. It went u treated and at my 4 week post op they were spotted. Now having bicep numbness and serve pain in the left collar bone to my bicep and numbness in my thumb pad. I lost two reflex’s in my left arm and was told it will never come back. Currently taking 1500mg of Gabapentin a day it worked at first my the pain is back and stiffness is back in my bicep and shoulder. I’m 8 weeks post op now and just started PT. Afraid it’s permanent nerve damage any recommendations

The healing rate of my tinnitus disease the very first time I apply and use Dr Madida medicine gave me a good impression that it is gonna work and it did work because right now I don't longer experience tinnitus symptoms I use to experience because the disease is completely gone.

Feeling how the blisters on my torso began to shrink within 3 days was very soothing, I applied what I talked about the other day and in two weeks the pain was gone. I just go'ogled Kaena Ramingler's Shingles Solution and now I feel as smooth and relaxed as I've ever been.
