Very true. I bought a Superflower 1200w Platinum leadex 2, and its lasted me several rigs (all oc'd 24/7) and is still going strong 13yrs later.

Indeed a good psu last me a decade corsair rm850x silent. Still using it with a 7900xtx oc 450w and a 12700k oc 5.2 another 400w. Total 820w shown in corsair app . 92% eficiency from a total 850w. And doesn t shutdown forged at max

I had that D.F.2 850W, worked for 10 days before the fan bearing failed and it was rattling like hell. Returned it as defective product on Amazon, was still within the window.

Kinda disappointing, that reverse fan feature to keep out dust was neat. But I couldn't cba to wait another 5-10 days to order a new PSU online, so I just went to a store nearby and got a RM850x.

We can't really evaluate the EnerMax PS without knowing its field durability. Does it have a 5Y warranty? If not, i'll still be buying EVGA or Superflower, two ROCK SOLID power supplies in terms of durability and minimum voltage droop under load ...

Ngl, unless you use a intel processor. 1200W is kinda useless. I mean even the 4090 doesn't consume 600W. And doesn't consume 600W on overclock. So the rest of your system will never consume 500W. Also with ATX3.0 your PSU is made to able to give double the power on spike that mean ut xan deliver up to 2000W every second on a 0, 1ms if I remember right. So really. Doesn't need of RGB PSU or 1200W.

Buddy. Not budget/performance friendly. There is many 1000-1200W PSU gold rate and ATX3.0 who will be way better in reliability and price than that.
