As an ex hairstylist seriously the best thing that I ever found was covering it completely all the way to the ends really saturating the ends with olive oil and then washing it.

Glad you’re putting it on your roots. Tired of people putting oils and product on their ends thinking & then telling others it’ll reverse the damage 😅 but no, when it’s dead it’s dead. Only thing you can do it regrow it
