The guy who brought Scotty a Tesla must be trying to give Scotty a stroke.

When I feel down I just think about Scotty and how so many things scare the crap out of him and I feel better 🤣

Scotty, I own a Tesla model 3 Long Range, and my factory tires lasted roughly 31, 000 miles (3/32” tread left). The car you reviewed here was driven in a very “spirited” manner. That’s what wore the tires out like that.

Dual motor Tesla tires last longer than rear wheel drive Teslas.
This is because on RWD Teslas (and all other RWD EVs), acceleration and braking are mostly performed with the driven wheels. You'll wear out those rear tires quickly, especially if you drive crazy.
The last set of tires on our AWD Model S lasted 60, 000 with at least 10K still left on them. Changed them due to the approach of winter. We didn't even bother rotating the tires after the first round. Even wear all around. AWD Tesla's are awesome on slippery terrain.

I'm convinced that Scotty was rejected for symphony conductor school, and never got over it....

I've never heard Scotty sound so excited on the drag strip before with any other car... The Tesla impressed him

I can't express properly the extent that I appreciate Scotty personality how genuine he is since the beginning of his channel.

Wow, I did not expect to hear Scotty say so many nice things about the Tesla Model 3! Here's a few things he said: Backup camera and torque: PHENOMENAL. Nice minimalistic design. Quiet inside. Touchscreen doesn't obscure view. Nice seats. 16 speaker sound system is KILLER! Man, this thing is FAST. It is like a Rocket Ship!

Scotty moves more just "standing there" and talking than most people do when they're walking. My kids tease me about talking with my hands, but I can see I'm just an amateur.

Can’t wait for Scotty to check out the cybertruck 😂

Love that back in the day you hated the EVs and now actually accept them.
The 2024 model is also very nice. I think the tyres can last quite long IF you adjust your driving by not accelerating crazily every time.
Love the vids man.

As a guy that buys and sells hundreds of pre owned vehicles a month I can say that there is something unique about EV’s but they still have a long way to go before they are as marketable as ICE vehicles.

I've been driving a Tesla Model 3 since September 2019. I can say without any hesitation it is the best car I have ever owed. I'm 72, so I've seen a lot. I have a 240V charging station in the garage, so I just plug it in when it gets down to about 30%. I charge it to 90% which takes about four hours. No more stops at seedy gas stations. Tires can be a problem, but no more than a 400HP Mustang with an 18yo behind the wheel. It is temping to use than accelerator. Brakes should last forever. When you learn to drive the car, most of your driving will be done with a single pedal. This is because when you take your foot off the accelerator, the regenerating braking begins to work. For the most part the brake pedal is not needed. When you come to a full stop, the car holds itself in position, even on a hill. no need to keep the brake pedal mashed down. Tesla has spent many years refining their cars, ICE car companies are just throwing EVs together. They are building compliance cars and really could care less about building EVs that are real quality, they just want to get them out the door and make them someone else's problem.

I believe the electric battery is messing with Scotty’s metal plate in his head. He is going haywire

I’m really curious what this owner did to wear those tires down so quickly. I got ~45k miles out of my first set(replaced them before they started getting bad), and I drive a heavier Model Y. It’s been no worse than any other cars I’ve owned. I have a handful of friends who also have Teslas, and they’re all seeing better wear levels than I am(I tend to floor mine a few times a day 😅).

The wife and I have two gas cars and a Tesla. We figured we'd keep the gas cars for road trips, yet we always end up taking the Tesla anyway!

Im in Australia, and we had a heatwave a couple of weeks ago with temps in the high 40's (over 110 for you Fahrenheit folk). I walked past a parked tesla and that thing was LOUD. All the fans were running full speed and it sounded like it had a jet engine running in it!

I own a 2020 model 3 SR+ with now 72, 000 miles. I’ve only ever replaced the upper control arms . It’s been a pretty great car so far.definitely not ideal for road trips if you’re short on time
