You could also take the pivot columns of U (19:54) and that becomes the basis of your column space.

well explained but,
during the NULL SPACE calculation stuff, its not like we can take any two variable on our own among 5 varaibles, we have to check for free varaibles and assume them as S n T,

sir while finding basis of nullspace you took x2 x4 . they are free vaariable because their corresponding column isnt carrying leading elements. should we choose every free variable in other examples?
