Yes, great point Amanda about Black Women, being honest with themselves about knowing what they need from a partner and what they truly want from the relationship. Another thing Black Women should also be cautious of is believing the hype of Interracial Couples being glorified on Social Media, that it's the norm and is the best relationships to be in, when in reality it's just as hard work as being in non interracial relationships.

Of anyone, second to none to any I have watched or heard in my 47 years of living and anyone on these YT streets!!
I thought I had a type until I met my husband. He is a typical nerd 🤓 and a computer science engineer and just celebrated his 20 year work anniversary so he put time in starting in his 20s and stayed in the house and hiked alone as he loved nature. When I met him, I first asked him what his job was like and he said "No one ever asked me that, wow. Its complex so u really want to hear?"
I said "Of course! You codes and build software and I teach medical coding n medical software so surely I can make somewhat of a connection 🤔?
When he got home that night he called me and said in 23 years of marriage with his ex wife and she never asked nor took an interest in what he did even though she was his high-school sweetheart.
I found him fascinating and even more mind blown that his ex could care less of the dedication that made this man him who he is. And child, he CAN'T toast bread lol and would never be at a cooking event so you are right on Amanda 😂
He is open to learn about cooking as long as he has a spreadsheet and recipe to cook the meal lol
I am the only black woman this man has dated and when I asked him why me he said "You were the only person in my life that understood my life and why I'm such a nerd and you actually like it!"
If I wanted a man, I had to know truly and fully his experience to see how we fit into each other's lives and let me tell you previous to meeting him, I had many dates that thought it was just a thing to do date me without real interest in what made me the black woman I am today but just interested in a "look" I provided that made them happy.

I definitely to agree with you when you point out that a lot of us stick to what's comfortable and what feels familiar. As a black woman, it felt 'normal' to date a black man even though the relationship I was in with a black man wasn't healthy. I'm seeing a man who is Asian and I've been forced to step outside my comfort zone, which I'm glad for because it's helped me grow as a person. I appreciate that you take the time to discuss the benefits of dating interracially as well as the challenges that come with it and not over romanticize it.

This is a good video and I'm like how you not sugarcoating and you gone straightforward about the topic. Also I'm agreed with you that about is certain black women don't want to get out of our comfort zone because we like to stick within our community especially dating within our race. But I get what you saying and I'm understand your ideology though. But still overall I'll interracial dating is not gonna be everyone though.

Good afternoon Miss Wakens.. How are you doing.. I hope life is treating you well. I have been doing a lot of research on your topics of interracial dating. I found 2 vlogs by : THE PINK PILL to be closely related to your topic. I would like to say.. when an ebony lady & a white man meet on line and / or in person for coffee & conversation. Its important that they invest the time to get to know each other as much as possible through conversation. From there they can build their friendships to having lunch and /or dinners together while having great conversations. Then incorporate fun activities together while having great conversations .Hopefully what is going to be achieved by the couple is fondness, trust, loyalty and a growing love for each other.

This invest of time & communication is key .. They made it a point to learn from each other by talking together, cooking meals together and achieving the bond that brings out the true love that have for each other. This path might not be right for some people, but for some it just might be... For me personally .. I know i need to earn her respect, trust & hopefully win her heart.. call me a little old fashion.
Yes, i prefer interracial dating for many reasons What starts out as Dating.. evolves into a relationship which then true love can be shared & embraced by the couple.
At that point .. I call this a beautiful present that the couple can give their hearts to each other.
