Dr. Han ends surgeon's whole career with facts and logic

I do not get it. Why doesn't this Dr. Han - who is clearly stronger than Shaun - not just simply eat him?

Unpopular opinion- Dr. Han has been one of the nicest doctors to him so far without too much judgment and he made the right choice sending him to pathology because it helps him learn some social skills then when he’s ready he can go back into surgery and have more experience.

Dr. Han was The Good Doctor all along. By moving Shaun to Pathology he:

-Kept Shaun employed
-Place Shaun in a department that highlights his amazing analytical skills and memorization
-Able to shield the operating table from Shaun's autistic outbursts (which, during the earlier seasons, was very frequent)

Really, how was he the "villain" again?

Surgeon is a wailing lawsuit waiting to happen, good on Dr. Han for seeing through main character syndrome.

History will look favorably upon Dr. Han

Shaun's jawline alone deems him unfit for being a surgeon.

So, let me get this straight: Han fired Shaun because of he had a breakdown during a surgery and being erratic.. but then Han gets fired for firing Shaun? That's bs 😭

Han truly was the Good Doctor..

I was kinda on dr. Hans side. The way I see Shaun is he’s be perfect in a role like dr. Hawkins in the resident. His skills at diagnosing patients is his greatest strength. Greater than anything else I’ve seen him do as a doctor.

it’s insanely funny seeing the sheer contrasts between the comments from like 4 years ago to the comments now.

I love it.

-be dr.han
-one of your doctors is having trouble with handling his emotions
-he goes over the line (makes fun of mother with retarded baby)
-transfer him to pathology rather than firing him, giving him a second chance while still punishing him
-the doctor comes into your office crying and screaming like a little baby
-forced to fire him
-a few days later, you end up getting fired and he gets his job back because he’s “tHe GoOD dOCtOr”
-on his first surgery after getting his job back (as the lead surgeon btw) he runs out of the room screaming and leaving the patient in the room

No normal hospital would even hire him in the first place, let alone let him stay knowing he can’t get his emotions in control. I can’t believe the same guy that made House made this crap.

What I like about Dr. Han’s antagonistic role is that, though he is biased against Shaun due to his condition, he doesn’t hate Shaun. He’s not incorrect about Shaun’s communication difficulties, either. Shaun has to attempt to get better so he can advocate for himself. The crew of the show said one of the things they liked about him was that, though his methods were extreme and often unnecessary, he wasn’t entirely wrong. A lot of surgical chiefs would’ve just fired Shaun right there, but Han was slightly more merciful when he transferred Shaun to a department where he thought Shaun would thrive.

Dr Han sees farther than any of us. We need to trust his decisions, even if they don't make sense to us right now.
