Professional makeup artist here! Yes, those are cool tones. No, you do not have hooded eyes. You DO have deep set eyes. Focus the smokiness closer to the outer lash line than the crease. If eyeliner scares you, wet that angled liner brush with some setting spray and smudge right on your lash line. OR use the pencil to tight line under the lashes.

Your skin might be too dry for a powder foundation. Look for a tinted moisturizer for a bit of coverage.

I’ve watched you for so long Chelsea and I never comment. I doubt you’ll see this. But I was single living in New York for well over a decade, some of the happiest, best, worst times of my life. I grew up in New York and found myself. Now I suddenly find myself married with two babies living in the suburbs. My life could not be further from yours and I find so much comfort and nostalgia in your videos. No one captures regular single girl New York life like you do. I watched your vlogmas whole nursing a newborn and it made me feel so cozy. You’re such a good presence on this stupid internet thanks for what you do and who you be.

10 years ago I used to do an eyeliner every single morning… and one day I woke up and I was over it! Everyone in the office came up to me that day and asked me if I was ok, I would look so tired and sick… bla bla bla…. You are doing exactly the right thing Chelsea. Just do powder, mascara and the lips and leave the house 😄♥️
