Today, we’re going to talk about one of the best natural remedies to increase testosterone: onions.

Testosterone does a lot in the body, including increasing libido, controlling male characteristics, and increasing muscle growth.

When someone takes testosterone, they inactivate the gland that makes the hormone. Generally, we want to choose natural ways to increase testosterone, which can involve natural glandular therapy.

Onions are high in quercetin, which triggers the luteinizing hormone. Luteinizing hormone controls and can increase the production of testosterone in males.

Onions also have a lot of additional health benefits:

I eat 1 raw onion about 5 times a week for about the past 4 months.
And definately noticed a tangible difference after a month in my mood and libido.
Now i've never really tested my testosterone levels so i can't say for certain. But im fairly sure my testosterone levels are now way higher then what they used to be.
My beard used to be very patchy and uneven and now it grows out way thicker and darker.
I'm also way more motivated to go out and do stuff instead of plonking myself down on the couch and watch Netflix.

Onions are the GOAT.

I grew up boxing. My grandfather use to make us eat raw onions daily and during training camp we would eat about 2-4 a day! Never really knew why, and it was never explained to us, but it all makes sense now.

Wow. That’s great. My son eats a huge onion a day. He eats it in a salad. He also cuts it in thin slices along with garlic. Puts olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and eats it as is.

Allicin in onions and garlic has been shown to increase testosterone, as well as capsaicin, the spicy compound in hot peppers has been shown to increase testosterone as well.

That onion water thing that was sweeping other social media platforms is another good way if you don't like the spicy taste. I did it more for ease first thing in the morning and after dinner, but if you slice up a medium or large red onion, put it in a mason jar and fill the vessel up with water, drink two large glasses a day and it helps a lot with inflammation. I have asthma that has developed since I've been on prescription meds, and it makes me susceptible to airway infections. I found this water helped shorten the recovery time considerably.

I'm doing seed retention while consuming onion. I'm doing this to boost my testosterone level and I also work out to improve my physic.When I consume onion it gives you energy. It increases my libido, stamina and my blood boils. But I use that energy to do something like working out or something important.

Allicin also increased testosterone shown in studies. allicin is created when the onion is crushed. It breaks down from oxygen, heat, or acid. So cooked onions, powdered onion, or pickled onions won't have the same allicin as minced raw onion. I always like to pour hot miso broth over raw onion and garlic

At 56 yrs old I was never a big onion fan until about 4 mos. ago and now for whatever reasons I HAVE TO eat them either raw fried or sauteed with just about every meal. Love chopping a few slices up and adding it to an avacado. Adds great flavor to any meal!

You would be amazed but in India, its very common for people to eat raw onions as a side dish or complimentary item during their lunch or dinner with dal sabzi roti etc.

I love all kinds of onions. Red, yellow, white, green onions are a treat with Thai dishes as well as beans & rice! Also love garlic. Hadn't heard of all of the benefits for testosterone or that there was that much quercetin in onions. Thanks Doc!
