To get the Max Recline seats to work correctly you have to fold up the rear seats first. That way to don’t have to move the seat forward and jam your knees into the dash. Also, on initial release videos I’ve seen the shoulder support has a ratcheting device to raise it up slightly to a couple different positions. Does this production seat do that?

According to the Job#2 order guide, max recline seat option is available as an option (not standard on any trim) on Lariat with ultimate package, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. This might be the very first with this option off the production line.

Quick question. Are the max recline seats as comfortable as the standard King Ranch seats while in the driving position? Im in the ordering process for 2024 King Ranch and the salesman said the standard KR seats are more comfortable than the max recliners in the driving position. Said they were harder. Do you have the same opinion? I am thinking about amending my order. Would like that option but not if they are not as comfortable as the standard ones. Please comment. Thanks.

I had them on my build for Job #1 never got built. Asked my dealer for an update and Ford removed max recline for job #2. They didn’t have an answer on why. Possibly they are running low on these seats. What a bummer. I was really looking forward to them.

So, which has the softer leather, if there is a difference, and which is more comfortable while upright and driving on long drives, these max recline leather seats that apparently still offer the massage capability, or the multi-contour leather seats with the massage and lumbar adjustability? I'd love the max recline feature, but only if it doesn't sacrifice the comfort of the other, or even better, if it makes them more comfortable while upright and driving. I'm sure they're both comfortable, but which is more so, and why, and how do they differ? Thanks so much.

Beautiful seats, but Ford should offer them in all trim levels from the lariat up. The max recline feature maybe not so much

if you remove the headrest if i recall it goes a bit lower and is more comfortable

Awesome! Pro tip. Sleep on the floor in the back and throw your feet up on the seat. I have been doing it for years.

why doesnt the f150 offer max recline seats anymore?

Does it have more bolstering on the sides of the backrest around your torso? And as well as on the sides and front of the thigh support? Pictures make it look like it does but it was hard to tell much about the cushioning. How did comfort compare to a standard Lariat seat? Thanks

I have a question on the memory seats on the Lariat ultimate package, shouldn't the seats go back and the steering wheel go up and all the way in when you shut the pick up off? We just bought a 2023 lariat ultimate Tremor, and figured it would have that feature. Thanks!

Personally, I think it's a gimmick. And overpriced one at that since it's not available in all lines. I recline the passenger seat in my Tacoma, cut a plywood board to extend from the dash to the aft passenger area while supporting the mid section w/ the reclined passenger seat, front w/ a vertical 2x4 and rear with a cargo ledge that came factory and put a foam matress on it. Works way better that a gimmicky lumpy max recline seat. But I'm only 5'8" so that works for me. Saves a bunch in hotel bills!

Does it automatically come in two tone? I thought it was all black
