The significance of this concert for him. This was the first time in over 10 years he actually played CCR songs. Big thanks to Dylan and Harrison for talking him into playing his older catalog

My Dad was drafted to the hellscape of Vietnam for a year and saw plenty of “action”. He really liked the ‘Nam era songs like Fortunate Son, Run Through The Jungle and others. I’m 50 and love CCR thanks to my Dad! ❤

"Fortunate Son" still makes me cry. It encapsulates Vietnam. The war never ended because we don't agree whether the US should have been there.

When I got back from Vietnam in late 72 or early 73 I saw John Fogerty play in Golden Gate Park. I stood out in the crowd with my short hair among all the hippies. It was a good show. I remember he sang jumbalaya.

This video brought tears to my eyes because I realized how fortunate I was to have grown up in a world that had John Fogerty in it. Been listening to CCR since the sixties.

This was 4 years ago, so I was 70 then. I first saw CCR in concert in 1970 in Honolulu. Hawaii, my second year in college. Crosby, Stills, and Nash were the opening act before CCR came on stage. It was a great show. This brought back some great memories. I still listen to CCR and John to this day. 🙂👍
