Former National Anthem of the United Kingdom: God Save the Queen [Remastered]

God Save the King is the national anthem of the United Kingdom since 1745. It is also the royal anthem of the 14 other Commonwealth realms, such as Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

From 1952 to 2022, the anthem was known as God Save the Queen, during the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

His Royal Highness Prince Philip The Duke Of Edinburgh has peacefully died in Windsor Castle aged 99. He was the longest serving Prince Consort of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Realms and due to his death, Operation Forth Bridge has commenced. He was in hospital in March and his dedication and humour will never be forgotten.

Today is special. Her Majesty celebrates her platinum jubilee, with 70 years on the Throne. Just considering how much has happened since 1952, to think that she was always on her post, fulfilling her duties exemplarly, is mesmerizing. She became a monument herself, not only in the rich History of Britain, but truly among the whole World. For many of us it’s like she was always there. Her reign will be remembered as a golden age. This sense of continuity and stewardship is truly a benefit of Monarchies. May we continue to be witnesses to her reign. God save the Queen!

Queen Elizabeth II will always be seen as one of the most groundbreaking and amazing women of all time, not only in Britain, but across the world.
The sacrifices she made for her people shouldn't, and hopefully will never be forgotten nor discredited. She's a model of pure leadership that many countries could use right now.

RIP Prince Philip.

He were so close to being 100. But I guess God had such a sense of humour, given he said he didn't wanna be 100. Anyway, 99 is impressive enough, given he outlived the USSR and Stan Lee.

His life was colourful, too. He had a no-nonsense attitude that is sorely needed nowadays. I was told he once set flotsam on fire to trick a German bomber away from his ship.

May the Duke of Edinburgh rest in peace. Never mind the haters, he deserves it.
