recently, xi jin ping seems to have taken cuba under his wing, there have been visits back and forth with no visible grand result, but latin america has refused to back or participate in the ukrainian adventure, and have been quite chilly towards usa.

There are many business interests chafing at the bit to have normalized relations with Cuba. So yes, I agree that ultimately sanctions will be lifted.

Not a single word about all the atrocities committed by the Castro regime against their own people. That´s the reason why lots of Cubans fled to the US and now are a strong voice opposing Marxism and Communism. Because they have had firsthand experience of what the ideas of this "brilliant" professor lead to when they are put into practice: not a wonderful utopian society, but poverty, enslavement, and oppression. This has been demonstrated every single time a country has tried to implement Mr. Wolff's Marxist prescription for everlasting happiness
