So the Better Call Saul finale has some amazing symbolism in it. During the court hearing in which Jimmy admits his guilt we get a strong focus on the sign that says Exit.

Now this firstly links back to his brother Chuck and the way that it was framed with him.

Chuck was upstanding when it came to the law and though he believed that Jimmy would never change, this scene shows that he does.

However we can also see at this moment that Kim is very much sat inside the sign.

This is important on a number of levels as she ends up walking free come the end of the episode.

At this moment in the entry Jimmy changes his statement to absolve her of any guilt and this very much gives her an exit from the punishment that she would've received.

Really cool imagery and it tops off whats an incredible season.

The exit sign also symbolizes the nearest exit from the building in case of a fire.

During the final season of BCS, we got the same *EXIT* sign and grave imagery that foreshadowed Chuck's and Walt's deaths, respectively. These previously-used symbols seemed too obvious to be foreshadowing Jimmy's death, or at least I hoped so.

In the final episode, the words of Chuck and Walt helped Saul to finally tell the truth. Walt's observation: "So, you were always like this, " basically echoed what we'd already heard from Chuck. Chuck advised Jimmy that "it's never too late to choose another path." Jimmy _finally_ listened to Chuck and accepted responsibility. In so doing, he put away the Saul Goodman persona. Saul died and Jimmy was reborn.

When Jimmy is shown in prison, we saw him cooking. This scene is similar to the many ones where he's working in the Cinnabon as Gene. I feel that scene is here to remind us that he was already in prison as Gene but now at least he's Jimmy again.

It's also interesting to point out when Jimmy does the finger guns, you can see Kim's hand also do it, but hesitate and leave without pointing them.

I didn't notice she was actually in the exit sign, but I did immediately know the significance of the shot in reference to the scene with Chuck. Jimmy wasn't only absolving Kim, but the legacy of Howard and his brother as well.

Another detail is that in the scene where kim lights Jimmy's cigarette the flame and embers actually have colour to symbalise that kim and jimmy still have feelings for each other

He doesn’t absolve her or guilt. He absolves himself after Kim has already done it. They can now both move on

That shot of the exit sign buzzing while Jimmy is finally opening up about Chuck and what he truly felt for him has to be my favorite scene in TV history, maybe in any visual art. Period. It literally had me crying. Plus the ending of Chuck's flashback with him walking away into the dark, and Jimmy and Kim's last cigarette... This show is the truest representation that an image is worth more than a thousand words. Bravo!

They said they filmed this in a New Mexico Supreme Court courtroom over 3 days.

The writing in BB & BCS is deeper than many people will ever realize. I hope this team can get together again and give us something entirely new, and is as much as if not an even bigger homerun as these last two series.

Jimmy thought arrest would be the worst thing. Turns out, he’s finally found peace

The last scene with the Kim smoking a cigarette has the same lighting as the smoking scene with the Kim in the first season

Some kind of an easter egg: Saul's last victim has a cocobolo desk at his home.

We also can observe that Saul wears a suit in court, which is a subtle reference to the fact that Saul always wears suits in court. Not only that, but he uses words and hand gestures which calls back to earlier moments that involved both. Truly breathtaking.
