I disagree. It was very emotional. The last scene of dialogue the two had together before this was in Return of the Jedi. You’ll notice that the camera angles are the same and the music is identical. This was one of the most beautiful scenes in the movie to me, along with the scene with Yoda.

I loved Luke’s projection especially the first time seeing at the movies it was so cool him facing Kylo and reuniting with Leia that was a beautiful moment that was probably the heroic thing Luke has done don’t care what anyone else says.

I waited the entire movie for this scene, Luke and Leia reunited. And yeah, it wasn't real, but to see Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher together for the last time, chills. RIP Carrie.
